1. Being Controlled by My Phone
Earlier, my screen time was 6–7 hours a day. Now, it’s barely 1–2 hours. I’ve learned to prioritize real life over endless scrolling.
2. Fixing Someone Else’s Trauma
I no longer take it upon myself to heal or fix someone else. Often, the people you try to fix are the ones who end up hurting you the most.
3. Caring Too Much About the Wrong People
I used to care deeply for people who didn’t reciprocate or respect me. Now, I focus my energy on those who genuinely value me.
4. Procrastinating
I’ve stopped skipping workouts, study sessions, and other responsibilities. I’ve realized that action beats excuses every single time.
5. Over-Communicating
I used to over-explain and talk too much. Now, I only speak when necessary and let my actions speak louder than words.
6. Pleasing People Who Don’t Value Me
I’ve stopped trying to change or please people who disrespect or hurt me repeatedly. Instead, I’ve learned to cut them off without looking back.
7. Chasing Temporary Gratifications
I’ve quit indulging in short-term pleasures like junk food, social media trends, and pointless distractions. Discipline has brought me long-term satisfaction.
8. Comparing Myself to Others
I’ve stopped comparing my journey with others. Everyone has their timeline, and self-growth is all that matters.
9. Holding Grudges
Carrying resentment only weighs you down. I’ve learned to forgive, not for others, but to free myself from negativity.
10. Living Without Boundaries
I used to let people cross my boundaries to avoid conflict. Now, I stand firm and protect my peace unapologetically.
