I am 25 and very lazy. What should I do?
Here are 7 ways to get out of a rut.
- Follow Intuition: Make a list of things that you want to try. And act on the least scary one first. You will feel alive and happy as soon as you take action.
- Comfort zones: Whenever you try something new, your mind will play games to keep you stuck. Be aware of it. And don’t let it control you.
- Change routine: There is no change without a change in routine. Start changing what you do. Join a gym, meet new people, read, etc.
- Quit Perfectionism: Imperfect action is better than no action. Don’t try to do everything perfectly. Be comfortable with just getting things done.
- Small-wins: Pat yourself on the back for the things you do right. Whether it’s eating right for a day or exercising; you deserve the encouragement.
- Manage relationships: Whether it’s cutting off toxic people or making new friends; Do what feels right to you.
- Self-care: Show yourself your worth. Take the time to take care of yourself. Exercise, read, do things that make you feel good about yourself.
