In India, Baba and Sadhu are terms that evoke a sense of spirituality and respect. A Baba can be a guru, a wise elder, or even a saint who guides people on their spiritual journey, like Sai Baba. On the other hand, a Sadhu is someone who has renounced worldly pleasures to seek enlightenment, often living an austere life in ashrams or mountains. Growing up, I often saw sadhus at festivals, their calm demeanor always felt mystical, almost like they carried ancient wisdom in their silence. These figures remind us of India's deep spiritual roots.
I don't know how to put it in a respectful way but this person is not a legit baba or sadhu ! He's just a person who has given up on life , has mental health issues and serious angst against his parents , last but not the least is a hard core stoner . No Baba or Sadhu has had an easy life but they still ooze with positivity, spirituality and wisdom. This person is just full of negativity. HE EVEN DISRESPECTED HIS GURU !! is this what a true sanatani would do ?
I know what his parents did was wrong . And it's commendable that he stood up against them and followed his heart but these things don't count as some eligibility criteria for him to declare himself a baba .
I just feel he's enjoying the fame and wouldn't miss a single chance to participate in Bigg Boss or any other reality show .
It's high time for the Gen-Z to stop idolizing such people because it's unfair to our genuine Babas abd sadhus who have given up on everything and have done saadhana for years and years .
