How can we change the work ethics of Indians?

How can we change the work ethics of Indians?

Work ethics depends on two things.

1.Need

2.Greed

Let me give you a example of ethics depends on Need. Suppose a milk man needs money urgently for someone ill in his family. He will surely do something to earn more money like mixing more water in his milk. So the solution of this will be more difficult and really strong morals is required for the change. Government need to give securities to people of this kind and welfare programmes should be made heard by everybody.

Now Greed, this kind of situation arises when a bureocrat or a politician or a business man use illigal or wrong intension moves for fulfilling their greed. This can be stopped by proper check by the person above and if people will understand the seriousness of the problem that can occur because of this move then things will change. People should think before performing any act.

As gandhi ji said

"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man/woman whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him/her Will he/she gain anything by it? Will it restore him [her] to a control over his/her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to swaraj [freedom] for the hungry and spiritually starving millions?

Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

- One of the last notes left behind by Gandhi in 1948, expressing his deepest social thought.
