I am not smart at all.

But,

I follow my rules religiously.

I cut losses quickly, I don’t hold and hope.

I take singles, I don’t get greedy.

I review my trades everyday.

I show up everyday.

Have long term perspective.

Always learning.

I never quit.

That’s why I succeeded.

Becoming a successful trader is a tough journey. You will get smacked around more times than you can count. You will think to yourself I cracked the code. I got it figured out. Then the market will say not today and switch the locks on you. Hours spent beating your head on the desk thinking what am I doing wrong?

I have been there. Every successful trader you know has been there. You are not alone, its part of the process.

But one thing I can promise you its worth it. All the blood, sweat and tears you put into this is worth it.

The second you get knocked down, don;t sit around and cry and complain about your situation and place blame on the market or anyone else. It’s your fault, own it. Take responsibility. Always look for the solution. Always learn from failures. Never give up. That’s the real secret.
