Why did Lord Krishna ask Hanuman ji to sit quietly in the war of Mahabharata, what was the reason?

Interesting story of the indomitable might of Mahavir Hanumanji.

  • In the war of Mahabharata, Hanuman ji sitting on the chariot of Arjuna sometimes used to stand and watch the army of Kauravas, at that time the army of Kauravas used to leave the battlefield with great speed. No one had the courage to visit Hanumanji. The same happened on that day when the war was going on between Karna and Arjuna.
  • Very fierce arrows were raining on Karna Arjuna. Due to the rain of his arrows, Shri Krishna was also hit by arrows. That's why Shri Krishna's armor fell from his arrow and the arrows started hitting his soft organs.
  • Sitting on the roof of the chariot, Hanumanji, the son of wind, was looking at Lord Krishna with one vision.
  • Shri Krishna had become without armor. Karna was continuously attacking his body with arrows. Hanumanji could not tolerate this. Suddenly, making a fierce roar, he raised both his hands and stood up to kill Karna.
  • With the fierce roar of Hanumanji, it appeared as if the world had exploded. The Kaurava army had already fled, now fearing their roar, the Pandava army also started running away. Seeing the anger of Hanumanji, Karna dropped the bow from his hand and fell down.
  • Lord Krishna immediately got up and raised his right hand and touched Hanumanji and cautioned him, wait. There is no time for your anger.
  • Hanumanji stopped by the touch of Shri Krishna, but his tail was standing and waving in the sky, his fists of both his hands were closed. He was gritting his teeth and looking at Karna with burning eyes. Seeing the anger of Hanumanji, Karna and his charioteer started trembling.

Seeing Hanumanji's anger not reducing, Shri Krishna said in a harsh voice, Hanuman, look at me. If you look at Karna like this for a few moments, Karna will die from the brilliance of your sight.

This is not Tretayug.

No one here can tolerate your prowess, leave aside your brilliance.

I have asked you to sit quietly in this war.

Then Hanumanji sat silently looking at his deity.

Jai Shree Siyaram……

Jai Shree Hanuman……..
