My life changed when I realised:

This is my life — I decide the meaning I make, the story I write, the purpose I choose.

People are not intentionally trying to hurt me — they're trying to keep themselves safe in the ways they know how.

The acceptance I have for others directly reflects the acceptance I have for myself.

The judgement I have for others directly reflects areas that I continue to judge myself.

Love can be communicated in languages beyond words and those languages are just as valid.
