What has Lord Shri Krishna said to Arjuna in the Bhagwat Gita about happiness and sorrow?

Happiness is a state of mind and has nothing to do with material possessions.

We see the multi-millionaire crying and feeling sad because he lost a bundle on Wall Street playing stocks;

Also, we get to see a man who is enjoying living in a leaky hut, not even sure where he will get his next meal.

Seems contradictory but true.

Truly, nothing in this world can make us happy, unless we are happy from within.

Lord Krishna also said to his best friend Arjuna:

Arjuna, everything in life comes and goes. Pleasure and pain are temporary experiences that arise from sense perception. Heat and cold, pleasure and pain will come and go. They do not last forever.

(Bhagavad Gita) Chapter 2:14)

Hail lord krishna.........
