I recently read "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini. This book provided insights into the reasons why people say yes to certain requests.
Cialdini explores six key principles of persuasion, which he refers to as weapons of influence. These principles are reciprocation, commitment and consistency, social proof, authority, liking, and scarcity.. & showed the power of understanding the psychology of persuasion and how it can help in effectively communicating and convincing others
He do explains each principle in detail and provides real-life examples to illustrate how they can be used in various scenarios......He explains how marketers, salespeople, and even con artists have used these principles to manipulate individuals into making decisions that they might not have made otherwise... On the flip side, he also explains how these principles can be used for good, to promote ethical and effective communication.... And fascinating thing is the author's clear and concise writing style ,Despite the complex nature of the subject matter, Cialdini does an excellent job of breaking it down into easily digestible information....He also provides practical tips and techniques for applying the principles of persuasion in one's own life, whether it's in the context of sales, marketing, or personal relationships....
Whether you're a salesperson, marketer, or just *someone looking to improve your interpersonal skills*, believe me this book provides valuable insights and practical tools that you can immediately start using to master your interpersonal skills..

Why Disconnecting From The Internet Improves Your Focus?
I read this book few days ago it's really interesting to read it and to learn some of the important lessons in story form .
The book explains 4 wheels of life . To be clear here author used analogy of riding a car with four wheels to live our life with four important wheels , so to be able to drive a car smoothly in the sense to be able to lead our life happily we have to balance these wheels. It's the main aim of this book according to my perspective.
The four wheels are:
Wheel 1: personal life
Wheel 2: Relationships
Wheel 3: work life
Wheel 4: social contribution
I am done with Steal Like An Artist and half-done with No Rules Rules.
One thing that's a common takeaway from both of the books is to think differently.
Be creative. Even if it means being different sometimes (No Rules Rules).
Even if it means you appear mad to some, sometimes. (Steal Like An Artist).
