1. POSTURE
A closed posture is a sign of disinterest/ frustration.
They will cross their arms and legs.
They won't seem very approachable.
An open posture is a sign of comfort and interest.
Their arms and legs will be uncrossed.
They will seem relaxed and approachable.
2. MIRRORING
You know that yawns are contagious..
If someone is mirroring you, they are engaged in the conversation.
It's a sign that they're attentive to what we have to say.
3. FIDGETING
Fidgeting can indicate disinterest or boredom.
If someone is constantly fidgeting, they are probably uncomfortable.
However, there are exceptions.
People with ADHD often fidget to make them feel MORE comfortable.
The context is important.
4. THE EYES
The eyes are a window to the soul.
They're a great indicator as to how someone feels.
Looking away is a sign of not being engaged in the conversation.
Strong eye contact shows attentiveness and interest.
