(RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and the leading steel-making company in India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the following (given below) posts for it’s Plant at Rourkela, Odisha and for it’s different Mines (Odisha Group of Mines) in Odisha. Starting date for submitting online applications is 06th September 2022 and closing date for submitting online applications is 30th September 2022.

There are 333 vacancies for Executive and Non-Executive posts in various departments. For Given Posts, age limit is between 18 years to 30 years. As per the official recruitment notification the candidates selection will be based on the examination and physical test.


Post-Wise Qualification for SAIL Recruitment 2022
1. Asst. Manager (Safety) (E-1)

i) B.E./B.Tech. (full time) in any branch from Govt. recognized University / Institution and having practical experience of working in a factory for a period not less than 02 (two) years after acquiring Degree in Engineering.

ii) Possess PG Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by State Government.

iii) Has adequate knowledge in Odia language.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in Graduation / Diploma in Engineering (as the case may be): For Unreserved /OBC/EWS posts –50% For SC/ST/PWD posts & Departmental Candidates–40%.

3. Fire Operator (Trainee) (S-3)

i) Graduation in any stream / 03 years (full time) Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from Govt. recognized University/Institute.

ii) Sub Officer Course from National Fire Services College, Nagpur or Graduate-ship examination of the Institute of Fire Engineers.

iii) Valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in Graduation / Diploma in Engineering (as the case may be): For Unreserved /OBC/EWS posts –50% For SC/ST/PWD posts & Departmental Candidates–40%.

Post Name: Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (HMV) & Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee)

Technical Knowledge Test: 20, General Aptitude Test: 80

Post Name: For all other posts.

Technical Knowledge Test: 50, General Aptitude Test: 50

(ii) The duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT)would be two hours. The minimum qualifying marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT) for unreserved/EWS posts will be determined based on 50 percentile score. For SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/PWD posts, the minimum qualifying marks will be 40 percentile score. The qualifying marks will be calculated separately for each post/discipline. Etc.

Pay Scale for SAIL Recruitment 2022
1. For Executive Posts: Asst. Manager (Safety)

The Scale of Pay: Rs.50000 – 3% – 160000 (E–1). After completion of one year of service/training, they shall be considered in E-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.60000 – 3% – Rs.180000 (E–1).

2. For Non-Executive Posts:

a) Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S–3) / Mining Foreman (S–3) / Surveyor (S–3): Rs.26600 – 3% – Rs.38920 (S-3)

b) Mining Mate (S–1): Rs.25070 – 3% – Rs.35070 (S-1). Etc.

Mode Of Selection for SAIL Recruitment 2022
(i) Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT) in Hindi/English on the appointed date. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 100 Objective type questions in 2 segments as given below:
