Passport Office Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of External Affairs is looking for candidates for the Passport Officer and Deputy Passport Officer posts for Passport Office. There are 24 vacancies for these posts. The remuneration will be Rs. 67700 to Rs. 209200. The maximum age limit should not exceed 56 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria for Passport Officer Post
(a)(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii)with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-11 m the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institute and
(ii) Nine years experience in Passport or Consular or Emigration or Administration or Finance or Accounts or Vigilance work or Public Grievances.
Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Passport Officer Post
(a)(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii)with five years service in Level-10 of the pay matrix rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis m the parent cadre or Department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and Experience:
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or Institute and
(ii) Five years of experience in Passport or Consular or Emigration or Administration or Finance or Accounts or Vigilance work or Public Grievances.
