Is Modi vs all a good strategic move by the opposition? Why is the opposition party not able to find the answer of "Modi vs. Who" 2024?

Why is the opposition party not able to find the answer of "Modi vs. Who"? Is Modi vs all a good strategic move by the opposition?

The democratisation of cinematic space is one of the most refreshing changes in recent times. The cinematic space monopolisation of Bollywood, predominantly in the Hindi heartland, has been shattered for the good. The mundane world of Bollywood is finally seeing the end of the day. The overdose of appeasement, movie remakes, body shaming, flimsy storytelling, abysmal direction, lack of creativity and superficial stardom has finally been breached.

Bollywood currently, has reduced itself to almost a remake industry. There is hardly any original content available. The content put forth is seldom appealing to the masses. Whatever little original content that the industry throws up once in a blue moon is driven largely by woke agendas. There is hardly any reflection of Bharatiya Samskriti in the Bollywood content. There is a major disconnect between what people want and what Bollywood produces. If we analyse the content of Bollywood we find that the majority of the content is either inspired or copied. When more and more remakes of regional Bharatiya cinema started to get commercial success over the past decade or so, the originality of content in Bollywood went for a spin.

Come 2022, the mediocrity of Bollywood stands totally exposed in front of the brilliance of Bharatiya cinema. The movie industry called Bollywood which has been infested with nepotism and mediocre talent is suddenly facing an existential crisis because of the growth of Bharatiya cinemas. The three biggest blockbusters of the year are all from Bharatiya cinemas.

The success of Pushpa: The Rise, RRR and KGF2 in 2022 has brought about a paradigm shift in the movie industry of Bharat. Bollywood, which used to monopolise the cinematic space in the Hindi heartland appears to be currently playing second fiddle to the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil movie industry. The ramifications of such a colossal change is likely to affect how the cinema industry will shape up for the next decade or so. This will in turn affect how the impressionable minds of the future will think and believe. It will also bring about a more competitive environment in which content will be the king.

The downright rubbish which the monopoly of Bollywood fed the masses will no longer stand a chance for commercial success. These are positive signs for the times ahead. However, what needs to be answered is what brought about this paradigm shift. Also, another question that needs to be answered is how Bharatiya cinema is getting so much traction throughout the nation. Let’s understand both these issues one by one.

Opposition on their knees but BJP has troubles brewing within

For a party that derives its electoral prowess from PM Modi and is under direct supervision of master strategist Amit Shah, BJP looks like a house in disorder. On the face of it, the Bharatiya Janata Party is on a roll. Opposition parties are on their knees. Nothing negative sticks to the government at the Centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains Teflon.

The Prime Minister can deny Chinese army’s transgressions into Indian territory to the country’s top political leaders: “Nobody has intruded into our territory….” Yet, he can make them duck for cover over national security issues.

He can push Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and the much-hyped things get erased from public memory — demonetisation, doubling farmers’ income, $5 trillion economy, 100 ‘Smart’ cities, et al.

What else can explain the BJP leadership’s failure to notice the emerging fault lines in the party? And the seeming nonchalance about what’s happening in states? Even at the Centre, there is a sense of drift in organisational affairs.

Nothing said by the opposition sticks to PM Modi. Because most Indians believe that he can do no wrong and the opposition can say nothing right. Modi’s colleagues in the BJP can, therefore, bask in the reflected glory and relax. They are probably becoming too complacent.

The Centre can keep extending the free food grain programme and depositing money into farmers’ accounts. And PM Modi can denounce ‘revdi’ (freebies) culture as dangerous for India’s development. What his government gives for free are for Garib Kalyan and Kisan Samman — welfare of the poor and in honour of farmers. What other political parties offer are ‘revdis’. Modi’s Cabinet and his party are full of dynasts. But he can slam opposition parties for dynastic politics.

What is the significance of 'Har Ghar' for Tiranga

A 90 year old lady living her life alone on the streets of Labangola village under Habra Subdivision approached a mobile Post Office camp to purchase a flag and immediately got busy counting coins collected by her, on accumulating the sale amount of Rs. 25/-, she stretched her hand full of coins to purchase the National Flag.

The lady who was ready to give her little savings for her national pride moved the staffs attending her and she was offered the National Flag as a gift. She was invited to Barasat Head Post Office on the15th of August to the flag hoisting ceremony.

Perhaps we all have a mother who cares for us and who we care for, our nation, our country, our motherland!
