What are the features of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway being built at present?

I've already planned a road trip to Delhi and Agra from Mumbai this Summer! Hope this gets completed on time. The features of the Delhi-Mumbai expressway is that you start your journey by road from Delhi say 6:00 AM then you will reach Mumbai by 7:00 PM.The older highways in India were fully open highways, which had open access on both sides of the roads. This usually meant cities expanded across to these highways, and now there are more people living “on” these highways than in the old cities before these highways.

If one needs to expand these old highways, then every shop and house on the roads has to be given huge compensation, and relocated, also there will be millions of court cases, and political rallies.

And after few years, the project would have been abandoned.

About 80% of the work of this Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is completed and 20% is left and the transport service which will start for the general public will be opened to the general public before March 2022.

This expressway is being built in the same way as the train route from Delhi to Mumbai and public services like eateries and washrooms are being provided every 20 to 25 km on this expressway and it is fully Signal Shri. The expressway will be there if your desire to have a meal is to have a snack then you can rest anywhere along the way every 25 km.

Earlier the route was from Delhi to Jaipur via Jaipur to Udaipur, you had to go to Mumbai via Ahmedabad or you had to go from Delhi to Agra Indore via Vadodara, Mumbai which used to take you 25 to 30 hours, now the same time is about 12 hours. You can easily reach from Delhi to Mumbai by road.
