DRDO recruitment 2022:for engineers is currently underway for four junior research fellow vacancies in Bengaluru

Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has published a notification for recruitment of Junior Research Fellow vacancies available at the Microwave Tube Research & Development Centre (MTRDC). Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of two years, which may be extended for two more years. Thehe online application date for DRDO recruitment 2022 for engineers being conducted for four new junior research fellow vacancies available at the Young Scientist Laboratory Artificial Intelligence in Bengaluru has been extended. The DRDO Young Scientist Laboratory has associations with various leading institutes in the country such as IIT, IIITs, and IISc Bangalore. Those selected will be engaged initially for a period of two years, which may be extended as per requirement of the project, and performance of the candidate. Those selected will be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs 31,000 per month.

Candidates sending applications by post will have to write “Application for JRF Recruitment” in bold on top of the cover of the envelope. Age Limit

The candidates age should not exceed 28 Years as on Date of Interview. Age relaxation will be available for SC/ST/PH and OBC candidates.

Salary details

The selected candidates will get stipend of Rs 31,000 per month plus House Rent allowance as per rules.

Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022 for Engineers?

The DRDO recruitment notification says that there are 4 new junior research fellow vacancies for which candidates with a BE or BTech degree in computer science, computer science and engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, or electronics and communication engineering in first division from AICTE accredited institutes or universities along with a valid UGC NET or GATE score or candidates with a postgraduate professional degree such as ME or MTech in computer science, computer science and engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, or electronics and communication engineering in first division in both graduate and postgraduate level from AICTE accredited institutes or universities can apply.

Applicants are also required to have

• Fundamentals in problem-solving, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
• Applicants should be experts in at least one programming language such as python or Java.
• It is desirable for candidates to have knowledge on artificial intelligence algorithms, machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Proven experience with software libraries such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, TensorRT, and so on would be an advantage.

The upper age limit of the candidates should not be over 28 years of age. However, the age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST, and by 3 years for OBC candidates as allowed by the rules of the Government on India.
