Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government Recognized University/Board/Institute. Must have passed Class 10 from a Government Recognized Board.
Must possess a valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency [minimum parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a) & 9(a)] issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam. However, candidates who are unable to obtain the above-mentioned Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency as the licensing exams are not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic can also apply. The candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will have to produce the valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency [minimum parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a) & 9(a)] subsequently as would be notified at the appropriate time.

Selection Process of Oil India Limited Recruitment 2021
The selection process shall consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) wherein the qualifying marks will be minimum of 40% marks for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and a minimum of 50% marks for others.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) will primarily comprise questions in the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format and will include questions for testing the requisite skills. The question paper for Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 3 (three) sections as detailed hereunder:

A English Language & General Knowledge /Awareness and Questions on Oil India Limited 20%
B Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability 20%
C Domain or Relevant Technical Knowledge 60%
Language: The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e., English & Assamese language.
Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the CBT.
Total Duration: The total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (two) hours. Compensatory time in addition to the duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be allowed to eligible candidates who are Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as applicable.
Final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT) only.

Candidate(s) should keep the following documents ready (as applicable for the post/s) to be uploaded while applying online:–
Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card / Zila Sainik Welfare Office Registration Card for Ex-Servicemen.
Admit Card or Pass Certificate or Marksheet of Class 10 issued by the concerned Government Recognized Education Board as valid proof of date of birth.
Marksheet and Pass Certificate of Class 10 issued by the concerned Government Recognized Education Board.
Marksheet and Pass Certificate of 03 (three) years diploma in the relevant engineering discipline issued by the concerned Government Recognized University/Board/Institute, as applicable.
Valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency [minimum parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5(a) & 9(a)] issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam.
Certificate of Proficiency issued by Board of Practical Training (BOPT), Eastern Region, Kolkata in case of diploma apprentice candidate(s) who have successfully undergone and completed apprenticeship training in respective discipline in Oil India Limited.
Caste Certificate of SC/ST/OBC, if applicable.
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate which should also be valid as on the date of appointment, if applicable.
Income & Assets Certificate to be Produced by Economically Weaker Sections which should also be valid as on the date of appointment, if applicable .
Disability Certificate (in case of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities).
Valid Discharge Certificate/Book/Service & Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen clearly showing Personal Particulars and Service Particulars, if applicable.
Photo Pass for Work Contract Labours (WCL), if applicable.
Valid No Objection Certificate signed by concerned Authority, if employed in Government Service/Public Sector Undertaking (including Oil India Limited).
