Does Ria Dabi use reservation in the UPSC CSE 2020 just like her sister Tina Dabi did in 2015?

I whole heartedly thank Ria Dabi to use reservation in UPSC CSE 2020. Yes you heard that right.
Yes, She did. Just like her sister Tina Dabi did. Just like her father did, just like her mother did, just like her grandfather did. Her future child will also use it, her child's child will also use it. Why? because reservation is not going to go anywhere, and no government will dare to touch the caste based reservation. And no one is going to voluntarily give away reservation whatever level of educational and social status they achieve.
She asserted her constitutional right. Let us not criminalize utilising reservations.
Reservations in any form will hinder the growth of our country. Reservations are to blamed. I even believe Reservations must not be provided on the basis of Economy too. You are poor? Study hard, take a job, work hard, get rich. You belong to a backward community? Same, work hard, get rich. The system will treat you just like everyone else is treated. You'll get zero preference.
General merit students must work harder and harder and run behind excellence. I am a general merit student too, I lost a MBBS seat long back due to my caste but I hardly care. I am a Backend developer now and earn a decent pay. Life is big. Do not get disheartened of you lose something due to no mistake of yours. Something big is awaiting ahead. Something that rewards you better.
Someone in an answer said- “She didn't have a choice”. Of course she had! She is a bright student. She could have applied from general category, this would have enabled a real needy person from her own category to benefit. Reservation is no more a tool to uplift the backward in this country, this is only to play the game of vote bank politics. The well off and already benefited will continue taking the benefits of reservation and the real downtrodden people will remain so.
I don't want to spend any more words/time on a topic there is no benefit debating much, as it is not going to affect the reality.
Quick family background of Ria Dabi; her grandfather is a retired CSIR officer who used the reservation to get into it. Her father is an IES Officer and so is her mother, both used the reservation tag to reach where they are now. Reservation in India was introduced to “uplift” the backward classes, right? A family of IES officers doesn’t seem to require reservations anymore but that’s not what the Dabi sisters did. Tina Dabi used her reservation quota to clear the exam and so did her younger sister, Ria Dabi in 2020 UPSC CSE.
Now let me justify my point. Ria Dabi in 2020 UPSC CSE.
Interestingly, neither Tina nor Ria could have cleared the Preliminary exam of the UPSC in 2015 and 2020 respectively since they were falling short of the cut-off for Paper 1. This time around, Ria Dabi scored 83.67 on paper 1 while the cut-off for the general category was 92.51. If she competed in the general category, she couldn’t have cleared the Prelims, let alone clearing the Mains and securing an All India Rank. She even failed to qualify the cut-off for the OBC category.
The same happened with her elder sister five years back when she failed to qualify the cut-off score for the general category but using the SC reservation quota, Tina Dabi cleared past the cut-off. Following her footsteps, Ria did the same.
What pains me to see is that there were thousands of students who scored more than Ria but failed to clear the cut-off since they belonged to the general category, who proved themselves to be more meritorious than Ria but the reservation system is such that it will prefer the reserved over the deserved.
She got AIR 15. I don't think I have to elaborate whether she is a good student or not. Now what is the guarantee that if she participates from a general category, a different student less performing than her from SC category won't fill up the vacancy she created?
Me being from general category would definitely want students from category to participate in their own category seats. Already the number of unreserved seats is so less. Then why bring in more number of good students from category seats ?
Beleive me, good students from reserved category competing in reserved category seats and not disturbing the general category seats is a blessing for general category students. (Yes I am talking from a selfish point of view)
Secondly, I don't bang my head on something which can't be resolved. Reservation can never be uplifted. Whatever curse may it be on Indian Education system, no political party will remove it. So there's no point arguing over it.
Peace.
