Mike Liner's words

"I am on my second marriage. When I met my current wife I thought she was older. When we went on a dinner date for the first time we both asked each other’s age. I figured she was 33–35 and she figured I was 40–45. Well she was 29 and I was 49. Most people assume I am younger than my age. I try take care of myself, eat healthy and exercise often.

When we started dating I was also dating other women who were closer in age. Yet these women’s views and or values did not align with mine.

This was in 2011 and we were married in 2016. I can honestly say that I am more in love today than ever.

She recently said what makes our relationship special is that we put equal effort into making each other happy.

For me I find joy in her success. I don’t find myself jealous which is beneficial because she is beautiful and men tend to flirt with her.

We have mutual goals and we work toward them. This is important as well as enjoying achieving them together.

Just a few points based on the comments. Life can be difficult for many and I have certainly lived through difficult periods. I thought, Lord I have tried to be kind and lead a good life why do these things happen to me? But often times bad things happen to good people.

There were many people including my Father who was against this marriage, in fact none of my family showed up for the wedding."

I realized at one point that Krystyna is who matters in my life the rest is just noise. With that realization came peace.

Together we are truly happy, happier than I have ever been. To be in love with the person who loves you equally is amazing.

Each day I say to her I love you! Krystyna responds with a smile; “I love you more!” I just say; “I know!” Then thank God she is in my life.

I hope that one day everyone can have these same feelings that we feel.

February 2020;

Wow, over 5000 people have liked our story of love. As the Beatles sang "All you need is love". Well you need more that love but it's a start. As of February 2020 Krystyna is still busy working on her Master's but passed the required credentials test.

I was asked to transfer to Nevada where they needed more leadership at our operations and made the move in September. Now I am in a different state and 5 hours away from Krystyna. We still manage to see each other on most weekends and realize that it's not forever.

Unfortunately there is a bit of sad news. We lost our Aussie Phoenix in December. I had adopted Phoenix a few years before meeting Krystyna. As she said there had never been Mike and Krystyna without Phoenix. We have both taken it hard but we are moving forward.

Remember that love can be exhilarating, joyous, and at times very painful but it's so worth it when you find the right person that cares for you, makes you a priority and is there through it all standing by your side! Spread the love everyone.

April 5, 2021: Today we celebrate our 5 years of marriage. It went by in a blink of an eye. She is still the best thing that has ever happened in my life. I am so grateful to have her in my life.
