ISRO Recruitment 2021: Applications Invited from Engineers and Technicians for Fresh Apprentice Vacancies


ISRO recruitment 2021 is now being conducted at the Space Applications Centre, which is a centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) which focuses on the design of space-borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO and the development and operationalisation of space technology for national development. Applications have been invited to engage graduate, technician, and trade apprentices for the year 2021-22, and those selected for trade apprentice vacancies will be paid Rs 7000, technician apprentice will be paid Rs 8000, and trade apprentice will be paid Rs 7000.

Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?


The latest ISRO recruitment notification says that the vacancies are open to candidates with a first-class engineering degree awarded by a government recognized university, board, or institute in the respective field with not less than 60% marks aggregate, candidates with a first class diploma in engineering by a recognised state board of technical education in the respective field with not less than 60% marks aggregate, and those with an SSC, 10th or matric and ITI in NCVT or SCVT in the relevant trade. The details of the vacancies available are as follows:

Graduate apprentice: Electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or civil engineering.
Technician apprentice: Electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or civil engineering.
Trade apprentice: Computer operator and programming assistant, carpenter, draughtsman mechanical, draughtsman civil, machinist, fitter, turner, painter general, lab attendant chemical plant, attendant operator chemical plant, refrigeration and air conditioning, electronics mechanic and radio TV, and electrician.
Candidates should have obtained their degree or diploma from a government recognized university, board or institute coming under the Western Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training, which is Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Diu and Daman (UTS) and trade apprentice from candidates who have passed ITI in NCVT or SCVT from a recognized institute of Gujarat State.

How to Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2021?
Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria will have to submit applications online on the official SAC website before 31 August 2021. Upon registration and submitting the application, applicants will be provided with a 14 digits Online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference as this will be used for all future correspondence.
