They may seem weird or odd.
There are two types of audience. Type one is the audience that know each other, for instance, a group of students who belong to 10th class. Type two is the audience who don't know each other, for instance, parents of the students.
Whenever I asked a logical reasoning question to the audience that knew each other, I found something interesting. The moment the question was posed, a significant number of people turned their neck to someone in the audience.
The people who turn their neck to the other person didn't even make an attempt to answer. These people have given up on their brain and will never become intelligent with this mindset. This is how you identify non-intelligent guys.
And of course, when a significant number of people are looking at one person, then he or she is more likely to be one of the intelligent guys in the room. Now just give a thought, how can we improvise this observation to find an intelligent guy at other places?
There are a few situations where there is a need to use the brain. During such a situation, look at the person and see if he is going in thinking mode and making an attempt to come up something rather than looking at others.

According to me, intelligent people have a lot of unique characteristics that you can identify them by. These people are indeed special and behave a lot differently from other average people around them. Below I wrote some things that might help with the identification of intelligent people.
- When you ask an intelligent person if they truly are intelligent, they will not always respond “yes”. Some say that the more you know and the smarter you are, the less you realise you know. Therefore I believe that most intelligent people would respond “no” to this question.
- If we go back to a classroom or a meeting, intelligent people will often ask more questions related to the subject and try to learn more about the things that are mentioned. Intelligent people have the tendency of always looking beyond and that’s why they want to know so much. Most of the time, however, they will not ask questions showing that they don’t understand, instead, they’ll ask questions that dig deeper into the subject.
- Intelligent people are rarely influenced by group pressure. If someone makes them do something at a party, or tries to convince of doing something they are not comfortable with, they will most likely say no, because they understand the consequences.
- If somebody teaches an intelligent person something new, the intelligent person can become the teacher instead. This is since intelligent person quickly understands things and connects the dots quicker than others.
- Usually, they tend to be more independent. They think more by themselves and also don’t participate in so many group activities. There are of course exceptions to this.
- Most of the times, smart people are able to admit their mistakes. They don’t start and talk back if they know they did something wrong.
- If intelligent people don’t understand something (rarely), they will stay up all night if it takes, so they can understand the problem, text, or what it is they are struggling with. Many other people leave things for later, but intelligent people can’t because they will feel unsatisfied of themselves.
- Intelligent people don’t brag so much of their accomplishments and awards, instead they are more quiet and observant. Yet, if their accomplishments and awards are mentioned they will be mentioned by other people. Intelligent people like to let others say good things about them, instead of bragging themselves.
- Actually, it very funny to see, most of the Ignorant people always busy proving themselves Brilliant. While intelligent people instead of showing off their intelligence – they doubt their abilities, always busy learning more and more.
- If the person is really, really intelligent, they will accept faults when you point out a real fault in their talk/ writing/ decision/ action.
- They don’t waste their time reacting to toxic people's comments until it’s needed.
- They have a very good sense of humor.
- Their communication skills are so powerful – when they speak people will listen, when they write people will read. The secret of their powerful communication is, they’re able to present their own perspective accurately (logical) rather than to argue aggressively.
- Last but not the least, they like to get engaged in intellectual & meaningful conversations - like here in Quora. They will never feel alone even in the empty room when they’re with their tribe.
