Country's longest Ganga Express will connect 12 districts and 519 villages of UP

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) has prepared the complete blueprint of the country's longest Ganga Expressway going to be built from Prayagraj to Meerut. It was presented in the meeting of the Secretary Committee chaired by Chief Secretary RK Tiwari. This expressway will connect 12 districts and 519 villages of the state. It has been designed according to the speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
During the presentation in the meeting held on Monday at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow, Chief Executive Officer of UPEDA Avnish Kumar Awasthi told that the proposed length of Ganga Expressway is 594 km, which starts from near Bijauli village of Meerut and starts from Judapur Dandu village of Prayagraj. Will be till It will pass through 12 districts of Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj. 519 villages will also come under its ambit. The total cost of the project is Rs 36,230 crore.
Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the Ganga Expressway project has been divided into 12 packages. Four groups will be formed. There will be three packages in a group. Chief Secretary RK Tiwari said that work should be done promptly to complete the Ganga Expressway project in the stipulated time. Regular and thorough review of progress should be made by making time-tables of various works. On this occasion, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Sanjeev Mittal, Additional Chief Secretary Industrial Development Arvind Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Radha S. Chauhan was also present.
In which city how many kilometer expressway: 15 kilometer in Meerut, 33 kilometer in Hapur, 11 kilometer in Bulandshahr, 26 kilometer in Amroha, 39 kilometer in Sambhal, 92 kilometer in Badaun, 40 kilometer in Shahjahanpur, 99 kilometer in Hardoi, Unnao 105 kms in, 77 kms in Rae Bareli, 41 kms in Pratapgarh and 16 kms in Prayagraj.
