The historic final match is being played in Southampton, England.  But rain has played the biggest role in this match.  So far 4 days of play have been completed in the title battle which started on 18th June, but 2 of these days were completely destroyed by rain.

The eyes of the entire cricket world are on this most prestigious match of Test cricket.  Apart from the finalist teams India and New Zealand, cricket fans from many countries were eagerly waiting for this match.

The final match is going on in the middle of rain, moving towards a draw.

The title match is being played in Southampton, England.  An interesting match was expected here, but till now the rain has completely ruined the expectations of the fans.  So far only 141 overs have been played in 4 days' play.

In this match, the ICC had already declared a reserve day, on which the attempt will be made to get maximum overs.  But the last day of the match and the reserve day are also believed to be affected by rain, so there is every possibility of this match being a draw.

In the event of a draw, both the teams will be joint winners.

There was a big question in the mind of the spectators about what would be the result of the match in the event of a draw of the title battle, but the ICC had issued its rules before the start of the match, in which they told that the match will be drawn.  What will be done if the tie or rain is ruined.

So regarding this, the ICC had decided that if the match is rain-affected, draw and tie, both the teams will be considered joint winners.  In such a situation, if the match is a draw, then both India and New Zealand will be considered as the joint winners of this Test Championship.  Well no one wants to be seen as a joint winner.

The winning team will distribute this amount among themselves

In the event of a draw, both the teams will be chosen as the joint winners.  So at the same time, now there is a discussion on the prize money too.  By the way, the ICC has fixed a prize money of Rs 12 crore for the winning team and Rs 6 crore for the runner up.

But after the draw of the match, after becoming the joint winner, both the teams will be given an equal amount of Rs 8.78 crore - Rs 8.78 crore.  Apart from this, the third-ranked team Australia will be given a prize money of Rs 3.38 crore, the fourth team England will get Rs 2.62 crore and the fifth place team Pakistan will be given a prize money of Rs 1.50 crore.
