Haryana's Charkhi Dadri District Superintendent of Police Ram Singh Bishnoi delivered a proclamation saying examination concerning Ritika's demise has begun.

Vijay Kumar Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, was one of the first to affirm the information on Ritika's self destruction via web-based media. 

"Horrible news that we lost #RitikaPhogat who had a splendid profession ahead. The world has changed from where it was a few decades prior. Competitors are confronting pressures which were not there prior. A fundamental piece of their preparation ought to be to manage these pressing factors," Singh tweeted. 

Mahavir Phogat was a beginner grappler himself while his oldest girl, Geeta, is a free-form grappler who won India's first historically speaking gold award in wrestling at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She is additionally the primary ever Indian lady grappler to have equipped for the Olympics (2012 London Games). 

Babita won a silver decoration at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, bronze at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships, and followed it up with a gold award in 2014 Commonwealth Games.
