Why did Justin Timberlake make a public apology to Janet Jackson and Britney Spears?

Justin Timberlake made a post on his social media where he apologized to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.

This comes after the Framing Britney Spears documentary came out and the public putting pressure on him to apologize to Britney Spears.

In the documentary, it shows that Justin tried to make Britney look like she was unfaithful to him by vilifying her in the press and sharing intimate details about their sex life, and by releasing the song Cry Me A River shortly after they separated.

He also apologized to Janet Jackson because of what happened when they performed together in 2004’s Super Bowl halftime show.

After the infamous wardrobe malfunction happened, Janet was mocked and vilified by both the press and the public and banned from performing in a Super Bowl ever again.

Justin not only faced no consequences but he never tried to show his support or defend Janet and he ended up performing at the 2018’s Super Bowl.

After he released this apology, the public is saying that it isn’t enough.

On February 7th, during this year's Super Bowl, her fans made the #JanetJacksonAppreciationDay trend on Twitter and they made her 35-year-old album Control go up to number one on the Apple’s iTunes chart.

She thanked fans in an Instagram video:

It is not known if he has gotten in contact with them personally.

What goes around comes back around must have a whole new meaning for Justin now.

Thank you for reading.
