How can the flats of the Indian be renovated instead of pulled down? Flat renovation Owner's pride neighbour's pain.

These houses are designed for a long life:

I have to be honest I’m not really familiar with Indian real estate. What is the parking situation like? Is there enough parking spots for cars? In California, there is open spaces but still nowhere to park the car. Also a good amount of the hotels have permanent residence living and paying monthly rent there. The hotels either have a communal group bathroom or separate bathrooms for each hotel room. Communal group laundry room isn’t always guaranteed. Laundry rooms are hard to come by even in the condos or the apartments and privately owned laundry businesses aren’t always close by so I just hand wash my clothes in the sink and dry it with a hair dryer. The apartments and condos usually have kitchens but a lot don’t have functional or no dishwasher at all. The hotels sometimes have communal group kitchens but it’s rare. I am fortunate enough to have my own bathroom, microwave, and mini fridge but no freezer because no hotel has that. The power goes out and during fire season and summer heat waves gets the temperatures over 38 degrees Celsius but its usually only a couple hours that the power goes out. They turn the water off sometimes too for repairs but they let you know in advance and it’s much less then the power going out. Anyways since the international crowd is here online I was also wondering, what is the parking like and is it normal for people to live in hotels? I like the small single story dwellings. We call them bungalows in England. The name stems from the old empire. Anglo Indian. They are in big demand and great for older folks.

- Stalinka, pre-war houses and post-war houses, built under Stalin (1935-1955, pause 1941-1945), - 250 years

- Khrushchevka (experimental panel and brick five-story houses, built under Khrushchev, 1955-1970) - 70 or 100 years,

- Brezhnevka (panel and brick houses with a height of 5, 9, 14, 17 floors, built under Brezhnev and Gorbachev, 1970-1990) - 100-150 years of lifetime.

Brezhnevka:

Khrushchev's houses will be the first to be demolished - their service life will go out in 2025-2040. By this time, they will be eliminated throughout Russia.

Then the turn of Brezhnev's houses will come - they will begin to be demolished from 2070 to 2140.

Then the turn of the Stalin's houses will come - they will be demolished in 2185-2205. They are considered elite housing, many have a high level of comfort and aesthetics. I think that most of the Stalin's houses will try to preserve them as architectural monuments.

The panel houses of Brezhnev and Khrushchev are unsuitable for restoration and are dangerous due to weak points in the structure - the joints of the panels quickly collapse and cannot be replaced. Therefore, they will also be demolished. It is possible that better quality brick and monolith houses built under Brezhnev will be able to undergo restoration and survive in single copies, but most of them will still be demolished at the specified time.

Restoring the houses of Brezhnev and Khrushchev is a stupid experiment, this is a waste of money, it is better to demolish these houses in time, rather than restore them. Otherwise, they will simply collapse on your head.

In Russia there are also Putinkas - this is houses built under Putin for displaced persons from dilapidated housing. In addition to the houses listed, a lot of temporary housing was also built in the USSR, which was supposed to be liquidated in the 1990s, but this was not done due to the economic crisis. Putin has done it now, and the work is still ongoing. This is how new Putinkas look like:

Now a pilot project has been launched in Moscow - Renovation. They will massively demolish Khrushchev's houses in order to figure out how to dismantle them with the least damage and with the maximum speed, given the huge amount of work. Pilot projects of new homes for moved persons will also be created in Moscow. Then all this will be implemented throughout Russia. This is how new houses under the Renovation program look like:
