Popular butterflies that can be seen in the Sanctuary include blue Mormon, common Jezebel, common Morman, standard mime, plum Judy, everyday wanderer, crimson rose, lime butterfly, plain tiger, and tailed jay.

Popular mammals that can be seen in the Sanctuary include black leopard, barking deer, Bengal tiger, bonnet macaque, common langur, civet, flying squirrel, gaur, mouse deer, pangolin, porcupine, slender loris, sambar, spotted deer, wild boar, and wild dog.

Popular birds which can be seen in the Sanctuary include drongo, emerald dove, fairy bluebird, golden oriole, greater Indian hornbill, Indian black woodpecker, Malabar grey hornbill, Malabar pied hornbill, grey-headed mina, grey jungle fowl, sizeable green barbet, paradise flycatcher, Sri Lanka frogmouth, and wagtails.

Popular reptiles that can be seen in the Sanctuary include ling cobra, cat snake, bronze back tree snake, hump-nosed pit viper, Indian rock python, Malabar pit viper, rat snake, Russell’s viper, Indian cobra, and common krait.
