Will Johnny Depp get a fair trial in America?

Hi.

Johnny Depp’s trial in the U.K may be on stand by for now, as he prepares to take his appeal, which was denied by Judge Andrew Nicol (who also presided over the case) directly to the Court of Appeals, but that doesn’t mean he has free time on his hands.

The Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial will start in May, in the United States, and the details regarding the motions put forward by both sides are starting to come through.

As of December 7th, 2020, they are still in the process of requesting evidence from each party as there has been many objections.

Here’s a link that shows what Johnny has asked for and her objections to each of those requests:

But even though we’re still waiting for the trial to start, something quite interesting has happened.

The Howell Petition.

Jennifer Howell was the boss and friend of Whitney Heard, Amber’s sister.

Whitney used to tell everything to Jennifer, including the times that Amber was being aggressive and abusive towards Johnny, including the staircase incident and Johnny’s finger situation.

Both of which I described in length here:

Vitmor Gomes's answer to Has Amber Heard managed to prove that Johnny Depp was a wife beater?

Whitney said in her statement that after the staircase incident, she fled the situation and went to Jennifer’s house and slept on the floor.

Jennifer on the other hand stated, that this was a lie. She had a spare bedroom and wouldn’t allow her to lie on the floor.

Also she stated that Whitney told her that she didn’t know why Johnny was still with Amber and that she was “having another go at him” that night and she had to leave as Amber was getting really nasty.

Johnny and his team saw this and decided that she should give a testimony in the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial, so they subpoenaed her.

Amber Heard and her team made a motion for the court to deny Jennifer’s testimony as it is “irrelevant”. And what did the court do?

The court called Amber’s motion “disingenuous” and ordered her to pay $4,290.50 for wasting the court’s time.

They said that if Amber thought that Jennifer was relevant enough for a subpoena in the British trial, she couldn’t turn around and say that she is irrelevant just because Johnny wants to subpoena her too.

Please keep in mind that Jennifer Howell was a very good friend of Whitney and knows everything that happened behind closed doors between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.

She wrote the following on her Instagram:

I was recently subpoenaed into a court case to tell the truth, and I did so. Verdict came down on Monday and the actual truth was destroyed by an unjust system.

I share this now because I want to have faith in truth, dignity, love and integrity ultimately winning. My heart has been broken during this process as I have lost faith in so many people who have claimed to be moral and good yet lack the integrity to tell the truth when it might be “an inconvenience” for them.

Those same people have contacted old employees of the charity and told them not to speak to attorneys and to dodge subpoenas. Have questioned my integrity for actually telling the truth when I was called to do so and much more. Heartbreaking to lose faith in people. I write this as I am trying not to lose faith in humanity, in justice and in the greater good... Truth and goodness have to win in the end.

The CHLA Petition

Amber made a motion to exclude information about her alleged donation to the Children's Hospital of LA, which the court has also denied and ordered her to pay $4,732.50 for the same reason as before.

The judge stated though that the Children’s Hospital of LA is not required to show documents proving her donation, but they can, if they would like to.

This goes to show that this judge means business and he will not show favoritism to Amber Heard, like the judge Andrew Nicol did.

This trial will have a jury, and we have to wait until May to see how their going to try to convince them that either party is guilty.

Until then, they will keep busy as their schedule shows:

Thank you for reading.
