Played Falconetti in Rich Man Poor Man. Fought Clint Eastwood in Any Which Way and if you’ve never seen the fight scene in DARKER THAN AMBER, look it up.

He was/is also pretty brilliant. Fluent in 5 Languages, holds a Phd. During the Korean War he was a Russian Intercept Interrogator and flew secret ferret missions over the Russian SFSR. He had both CIA and NSA clearance and intended to enter a classified position with the U.S.

This guy is not someone you want to mess with.

After reading some of the other answers, I would have to agree that Gene Lebell might just take the #1 spot. Although he was more of a Stuntman than an actor. As a Judo master and Grappler, if he got inside; you were dead. He put Steven Segal in a Sleeper hold… twice.

The story also goes that he got into a sparring match with Bruce Lee… got inside and managed to lift Lee over his head. Lee was furious… he screamed “put me down or I’ll kill you”. Lebell replied… “I won’t put you down… because you’ll kill me! “ He knew that Bruce would be tough to get inside a second time.

After Bruce calmed down, he was so impressed with Lebell that he trained with him to learn grappling and add those “inside” moves to his Jeet Koon Do system.

The other guy is Sonny Landham… by all accounts he was not just a bear of man, but he was insane!
