Who innovates better: Google, Facebook or Apple?

Facebook is far too busy preserving its hegemony in the world of social networks to innovate.

The world of social networks is a world where it is difficult to remain a leader over time. New trends frequently emerge, and new applications are becoming more popular among young people.

Facebook must therefore be constantly listening to the market to maintain its dominance.

To achieve this, Facebook is trying to buy out all the competitors that could potentially overtake it one day. This is what Mark Zuckerberg's company did with WhatsApp and Instagram, for example.

Facebook has tried to buy out Snapchat several times without success.

When Facebook fails to succeed, the company chooses to copy the popular and innovative features of its competitors.

It has done so with Snapchat on numerous occasions, and is now doing so with TikTok for example.

In the end, Facebook does not innovate, but seeks above all to preserve its position.

Apple was renowned for its sense of innovation, but since the death of Steve Jobs, the apple brand has entered a management mode that consists of increasing its turnover to record levels without major innovations.

This fits well with the personality of Tim Cook, who is a good CEO for Apple, but not an innovator.

Apple's biggest innovation since the death of Steve Jobs is probably the Apple Watch. But then again, it's not a huge innovation. It is more the extension of the iPhone as a connected watch to meet the competition of Samsung or other players in this new market.

Finally, we have Google, which is the most innovative company among these three giants.

In recent years, Google has been able to develop Chrome which has become the number one browser. Google then created the Chromebooks which are a huge success because of their ease of use.

Google has made Android the dominant OS on the market. Google is one of the pioneers in autonomous cars.

Google tried the adventure of Google Glass. It's a failure for the moment, but that's what innovation is all about, you can't be successful every time.

Alphabet has a subsidiary called Google X in which are placed all the most innovative projects of the Mountain View firm. I would advise you to take a look at it. It will show you why Google is a truly innovative company:
