George Bush
George Bush always been my favourite politian in USA
During his presidency I saw him as the guy who didn't listen to the UN and used all types of torture methods on innocent people. Till Donald Trump came along, I thought he was the worst or one of the worst presidents america has had.
Recently I discovered that Bush launched a health initiative he personally championed with the unpromising acronym of Pepfar The President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief, one of the biggest global health initiatives in history. This cost 15 Billion dollars and which, according to the Guardian, has been hailed as “a 'revolution' that is transforming healthcare in Africa and has been praised as the most significant aid program since the end of colonialism”.
After his presidency George and Laura bush went to Africa for humanitarian reasons. Not as a political stunt but for humanitarian reasons.
My respect for George Bush has gone from zero to hero
