It's further proof of what everybody already knows.
Trump has no concept of democracy. He is a coward devoid of class or humility. He believes the Office of the Presidency is an entitlement when in reality it is a privilege. A privilege only granted to 44 men by the American people.
Let's take a look at Inaugurations of the past.

We'll conclude with Barack and Michelle Obama cordially greeting the Trumps on Inauguration Day. Not all the presidents in these pictures liked each other. Some, lost bitterly contested elections weeks earlier to the new president being inaugurated. Yet they all showed up to wish their successor well. That's because the hallmark of American democracy has always been the peaceful transfer of power. It's because previous presidents placed the country before themselves.
That is, until now. Now that we have an incumbent stirring up his supporters with lies about stolen and rigged elections. Now that we have an incumbent who incited an attack on our Capitol. An incumbent whose stupid mouth puts lives in danger every day. The vast majority of Americans already knew that Trump was unfit for office. We can only hope he is an aberration and not a glimpse into the future.
Trump obviously cannot muster up the class to do what nearly every other president has done. He is and always will be a disgrace to the office.
