He’s being accused of being a cannibal.
Armie Hammer, known for his roles in Call Me By Your Name and The Man From U.N.C.L.E, is being accused of being a cannibal after private messages he sent a woman he was, allegedly, involved with, were leaked, by the former, on her Instagram stories.
There is no proof that these are actually his texts and it is believed by many that this might have been photoshopped. Take it with a grain of salt:
After the DMs were made public he started trending on Twitter and started receiving a lot of hate online.
He then decided to quit his upcoming movie, Shotgun Wedding, with Jennifer Lopez and stated:
I’m not responding to these bulls**t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that.
