What are some popular dishes in Maharashtrian cuisine?

Born and bought up in Maharashtra, listing here some of my favorite vegetarian dishes from the Maharashtrian cuisine

Main Cuisine

1. Varan Bhat - nothing feeds your soul like hot varan bhat.

3. Jhunka Bhakri - this is soul sister (read - modified version) of pithla bhakri

4. Puran Poli - this lipsmacking beauty! Oh, soft puran poli’s are love!! ❤️

5. Misal Pav - I guess ‘yummy in my tummy’ was made for this dish. Sabzi packed with nutrients from sprouts with farsan topped, eaten with pav.

Bhakri

1. Thalipeeth - Mixture of grains and yummmmm

2. Tandlachi Bhakri - these rice bhakri’s are made in a different fashion and are super soft
