What are the most blatant examples of modern propaganda?

For me, I say it’s the political cartoonist Ben Garrison and his art. It’s completely devoid of any and all subtlety and so over the top it’s hilarious. Especially the way the man draws former US president Trump is funny, giving him the body of a Greek God and chiseled good looks quite unlike anything the man has looked like in the last forty plus years.

His Hillary is rather glorious too, some sort of mix between a mean little boy and a witch. Then there’s his Obama, big ears and all. The heroes of Garrison’s cartoons always look good, the villains awfully pathetic. It’s great propaganda, as far as proganada goes…

His George Soros is also… interesting. Soros, as many may know, is a billionaire philantropist from Hungary who is quite keen on letting refugees into Western nations. He’s also Jewish, and a lot of his criticism is rooted, according to some, in nefarious antisemitic theories. Which then caused 4chan to ‘adopt’ Ben Garrison and edit his cartoons to be even more blatantly anti-Jewish as a joke…

And then here’s the final form of Ben Garrison — Ben Garrison, as seen and interpreted by 4chan, combining Garrison’s worship of Trump with 4chan’s famous dislike for what they see as ‘hooked nose greedy jews’, a trope as old as time…

Ben Garrison cartoons, and their altered versions made by the KKK’s online cousins, are about as awful as it gets, entirely devoid of subtlety but often rather humorous in how extremely over-the-top it is. Kind of like Borat in drawn form.

As far as propaganda goes, Ben Garrison is a rather blatant example. Made more blatant and rather racist when adopted by internet bigots with terrifying enthusiasm.
