Probably not because Harry had a great worry free life in England, many friends and family and was highly respected there.
Meghan could have had a fantastic life there with him and his loved ones too. She was alone in the States anyway, didn’t really have close family besides Doria and almost no or no friends.
Life in the US is so much harsher than in England and most people are less relaxed. It is more a sink or swim and Harry has no support system here at all. It is culturally very different and he just can’t run or drive around the corner if he needs anything from his loved ones. He’s all alone here and fully depending on Meghan. Meghan herself with no friends and family is pretty much alone here too even though she’s lived almost her whole life here.
Family have different dynamics in the US, many come from broken families and friends are only friends when working or schooling together. After that it’s often out of sight, out of mind and everyone’s working a lot to survive.
