Hypothetically, if Amber Heard was no longer Mera, who do you think would replace her as Mera?

It should be someone who’s a natural redhead or looks really good with red hair. Amber didn’t nail it, and I get the color is supposed to be vibrant, but it just didn’t look good on her.

Another thing, Scarlett Johansson can’t do it right now. She seems to be popular with fans because of her history of red hair with the character “Black Widow”. I don’t know how much longer her contract extends, but Marvel doesn’t let their actors star in DC movies. So for right now, she’s out.

My top pick would be Katherine McNamara.

Pretty sure red isn’t her natural color, but it looks good with her. She hasn’t really been in any blockbuster yet, so if she was cast, it might be good for her career.

Amber Heard, in my opinion, didn’t do amazing in the character. Some other people agree, some others don’t. We’re all entitled to opinions. Katherine seems more like a “drama” actress, but her role as Clary has me convinced she could do great as Mera.
