Donald Trump was obviously hoping to continue to carry weight in politics in the months and years to come. Donald Trump hinted that he wanted to take his revenge in 2024.
The fact that he had 74 million votes in his favor on November 3, 2020, reinforced his belief that his ideas remained extremely popular.
However, in the weeks that followed this defeat, Donald Trump accumulated the wrong choices. By flouting American democracy, Donald Trump lost the Senate to the Republican camp.
Then, Donald Trump favored the attack on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021 by pushing his most radical supporters into action. The GOP will never forgive Donald Trump for that. While Trump still had strong GOP support until then, what happened on January 6, 2021 changed everything.
Trump will be let go by the GOP and all other potential partners who could have supported his bid for 2024.
Donald Trump will be a distant memory in politics when the Republican primaries begin in 2024. He will not be able to be elected again.
