Kishore Kumar

Taking about favourites of the film industry, Kishore Kumar, referred as Kishore Da, married four times. The legendary singer married Ruma Guha Thakurta in 1950. Their marriage lasted for eight years post which, Kishore Da married the silver screen beauty, Madhubala, in 1960. This union ended after nine years with Madhubala’s sad demise. Kishore Kumar’s third wife was yet another Bollywood actress, Yogeeta Bali; their marriage lasted for the short time span of two years. In 1980, Kishore Da again fell in love with Leena Chandavarkar, another young Bollywood actress. Their union saw an end after the sad demise of Kishore Da.

Karan Singh Grover

Karan Singh Grover is the latest to join the exclusive club. The actor's first marriage was with TV actress Shraddha Nigam in 2008 which 10 months later ended in a divorce. After divorcing his first wife, Karan Singh Grover's second marriage to well-known TV Jennifer Winget too was short-lived. The cause for their separation in 2014 was due to personal differences and the former's casanova ways. The actor then dated his Alone film female co-star and Bollywood actress, Bipasha Basu. The couple is one of the recently married celebrities and one among the famous celebrities who got hitched in 2016.

Siddharth Roy Kapur

Siddharth Roy Kapur, the top notch producer of UTV was a two-time divorcee before getting married to actress Vidya Balan in 2012. His first wife was his childhood friend and his second wife was a Television producer from whom he separated in 2008 and the divorce came through in the end of 2011. His third marriage with Vidya has lasted since then.

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt's first wife was actress Richa Sharma in 1987, the couple had a daughter named Trishala Dutt. After Richa's death in 1996, Sanjay had his second marriage to Rhea Pillai in 1998. After a period of seven years, the couple divorced without having any issues. He got married for the third time in 2008 to a lesser known Bollywood actress, Manyata Dutt. The couple has twins – a boy and a girl. There were also rumors that Sanjay Dutt was married to actress Rekha but both of them denied this rumor. Sanjay Dutt's ex-wife Rhea Pillai later married ace Tennis star, Leander Paes.

Prosenjit Chatterjee

Actor Biswajit’s star son, Prosenjit who acted in a handful of Bollywood films and is currently the reigning superstar of Bengali films, married thrice. He first married actress Debashree Roy in 1992 but eventually divorced her in 1995. He married for the second time in 1997 to Aparna Guhathakurta but the marriage was short-lived as the couple divorced in 2002. His third marriage in 2002 was to actress Arpita Chatterjee with whom he has a son Trishanjit Chatterjee.

V. Shantaram

One the doyens of Indian cinema, V. Shantaram who was known for films like Dr. Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani (1946), Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje (1955), Do Aankhen Barah Haath (1957), Navrang (1959), etc., too married thrice. His first marriage was to Vimala, with whom he had a son and two daughters. He later married actress Jayashree Kamulkar with whom he had three children, of which one was the famous actress Rajshree. His third wife was actress Sandhya with whom he did many films like Do Aankhen Barah Haath, Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, Navrang, Sehra and Jal Bin Machhli Nritya Bin Bijli.

Lucky Ali

Singer-actor Lucky Ali, who belongs to the family of actor Mahmood, also had three marriages. His first wife, model Meaghan Jane McCleary was from New Zealand who featured in one of his music videos. He tied the knot for the second time to Inaya, a parsi girl from whom he had two children. The third time he married a British model and former Miss England Kate Hallam and the couple have a son named Dani.

Vinod Mehra

Vinod Mehra started his Bollywood journey by appearing as a child artist in a few Bollywood films in the 60’s before making his adult debut in ‘Amar Prem’ in 1971. The actor who was a lead in many successful 70’s and 80’s films married thrice. His first marriage was an arranged one to Meena Broca which was reportedly not consummated. Thereafter, reportedly he had an affair with Rekha which didn’t last long as he married his frequent leading lady Bindiya Goswami. His marriage to Bindiya too didn’t last long as it ended in a divorce. The couple didn't have any issues. His third marriage was with Kiran in 1988, which lasted until his death in 1990. The couple had a son and a daughter. Their daughter Soniya Mehra made her acting debut in 2007 in the remake of 'Victoria no. 203'.

Gemini Ganesan

Coming to multiple marriages in the Tamil Industry, the late actor who was dominant in Tamil cinema more than Hindi did appear in a few notable Bollywood films such as ‘Miss Mary’ opposite Meena Kumari, ‘Devta’, ‘Raj Tilak’ and ‘Nazrana’ where he played a cameo. He married four times; his wives included Alamelu from whom he had four daughters, Pushpavalli from whom he had two children, Rekha (Hindi actress) and Radha, the third time he got married was to actress Savitri from whom he had a son and a daughter and finally, Julianna who became his fourth wife at the age of 78.

Neelima Azeem

Yes, Shahid Kapoor’s mother Neelima Azeem too married thrice. She married actor Pankaj Kapur from whom she had Shahid in 1981. After divorcing her first husband Pankaj in 1984, her second marriage was with actor Rajesh Khattar with whom she has a son and daughter. Neelima's ex-husband Pankaj Kapur later married Bollywood actress Supriya Pathak. Neelima divorced her second husband Rajesh Khattar in 2001 as she later got married for the third time. The actress's third marriage was with Ustad Raza Ali Khan which took place in 2004. Her third husband, Ustad Raza Ali Khan is one of India's well-known classical vocalist of the Kasur Patiala Gharana orchestra and the grandson of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.

Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan's first wife was classical dancer Vani Ganapathy, who he married in 1978 and divorced 10 years later. The couple didn't have any kids. He married Bollywood actress Sarika in 1988 and had two daughters from her - Shruti and Akshara Haasan who are also Bollywood actresses. After his divorce to Sarika, he had a live-in relationship with Tamil actress Gauthami who has a daughter from her earlier marriage. It was not clear whether the couple was married or not as a marriage date was never announced. The couple recently announced their breakup due to incompatibility.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Producer-director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra too had more than two marriages. His first marriage was with film editor Renu Saluja in the 70’s, and his second wife was Shabnam Sukhdev whom he married and later divorced in the 80’s. He fell in love and married writer and film critic, Anupama Chopra in 1990. The couple has a son and both are successful in their respective careers with Anupama currently serving as the host of the Film Companion Youtube Channel.

Adnan Sami

Singer Adnan Sami's first wife was actress Zeba Bakhtiar whom he wedded in 1993. Both had a son named Azaan Sami Khan. They divorced after three years. He married Dubai-based girl Sabah Galadari which also ended in a divorce in 2009. He married for the third time in 2010, his third wife was an Afghan-origin German girl, Roya Faryabi, the daughter of a retired diplomat and army general. Since then both have been living in India and recently got their Indian citizenship. The couple has a daughter named.
