Are rich/upper-class British people opposed to the NHS?

Do you recognise these two …

Former British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha.

This is a picture of their deceased son, Ivan …

He suffered from cerebral palsy and Ohtahara Syndrome. He died at the age of six.

I don’t know whether you would consider them rich or upper class. But they certainly have a privileged background and are independently wealthy.

During their son’s short life, he needed a considerable amount of health care which he received from the NHS, often requiring periods in hospital when his parents would stay overnight with him.

The Camerons have spoken with nothing but praise for the NHS and the care that Ivan received during his all too short life.

I hope this helps.

NB: This is an answer about wealthy/privileged people and their approach to the NHS. Any comments received about David Cameron’s performance as a Conservative PM will be dealt with accordingly.

Thanks for Reading
