Who among living Hollywood actors has acted in the most films?

It’s 2020, Danny Trejo is 75 years old (76 in May), and he has 3 movies in the can, 12 films in post-production, one currently filming, 7 more in pre-production and two that have been announced along with a TV series.

How’s your year going???

He currently has 398 acting credits listed on IMDb - but that number will probably be higher in a couple of weeks.

He did his first onscreen role in 1985 at age 41 playing a boxer in Andrey Konchalovskiy’s RUNAWAY TRAIN. He'd been a boxer in San Quentin prison.

But he had already lived an entire lifetime before he stepped foot in front of the camera.

Throughout the 1960s he was in and out of prison(s). He did time in a juvenile offenders' camp and six California prisons between 1959 and 1969. His last prison term was a five-year stint.

Look at that handsome fella!!

After his final incarceration, he worked as a youth drug counselor before transitioning into acting.

My kids would rather me be working. If I stay at home, I'll only buy another car or spend their money. [The Guardian by the mid-90s he was sharing the screen with Robert De Niro in Heat (1995).

With almost 400 acting credits - everyone is going to have their favorite character that he’s played.

Here are just a few:
Marked for Death (1990), Blood In Blood Out (1993), Desperado (1995), Heat (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Anaconda (1997), Con Air (1997), The Replacement Killers (1998), Point Blank (1998), Animal Factory (2000), Spy Kids (2001), XXX (2002), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The Devil's Rejects (2005), The Haunted World of El Superbeasto (2009), Machete (2010), Predators (2010), Bad Ass (2012).
