Which actor has the most explosive temper both on and off camera?

Russell Crowe is a tornado wrapped in a hurricane. An industry legend more known for for his fits of rage than his acting talent.

Crowe is not afraid to throw anyone against the wall or lace them with threats that have a 50–50 chance of actually happening.

He called “Gladiator” producer Brando Lustig at 3:00AM and threatened to kill him with his bare hands.

When the BBC cut short his BAFTA acceptance speech, he retaliated by pinning the producer against a wall and launching into a verbal tirade.

In 2002, police were called when he got into a bar fight with a Aussie businessman.

He punched out his own bodyguard on the set of “Cinderella Man” in 2004.

In 2005, Crowe was charged with felony assault and possession of a weapon after throwing his phone at a hotel employee.

In an interview with David Letterman, he made a point of removing the phone from his desk, carrying it off stage.

Later, he tried to call his wife in Australia unsuccessfully. Took the phone to the concierge desk leading to a confrontation, ended up hitting

the hotel employee with Letterman’s phone. Letterman called the encounter “spectacularly stupid”.

The concierge showed his stitched up eye to a NY Daily News reporter and called his lawyer.

Negative media coverage affected his career. Your mistakes follow you in one way or another. Crowe has moved past his “Bad Boy” reputation.

But the movie industry didn’t. The real reason you don’t hear from Russell Crowe anymore.
