When Captain America uses his shield to block his upper body, why doesn’t anybody shoot at his legs?

Without reasoning, people always seem to think that he has plot armor but this unquestionably has nothing to do with it. The majority of Captain America’s suits are bulletproof which is why he always covers his exposed face as the main priority.

Even without his suit, he’s pretty safe. Many seem to forget the fact that Captain America is indeed a bullet-timer, his reflex is augmented to a point where he can dodge bullets.

He said so himself in the comics and has shown several feats. His combat speed is also off the chart, he moves way too fast for his opponents to get a right aim on, the guy is able to hit Spider-man before he even realizes it despite his Spider-sense.

Sometimes, Captain America no sells bullet shots, it’s either his will or his enhanced durability. Also, his healing factor would make bullet shots seamless without a scar after some minutes.
