What does a classic Iranian breakfast consist of?

The most famous Iranian breakfast is “Noon-Panir-Sabzi” (which means bread, cheese and veggies). The bread can be any type of the Persian bread (e.g. Sangak, Barbari, Taftoon, Lavash, …) the cheese is usually Lighvaan (a salty and tasty cheese). And the vegetables contains parsley, basil, leek, radish, scallion, any of the mint family, …

As an addition, there could be also walnut, dates, cucumber and tomatoes, grapes, watermelon or melon.

It is customary that the bread should be fresh and hot, and usually it is bought from the bakery just before the breakfast.

It usually served with black tea, sweetened black tea or black tea with rock candy. The classic Iranian tea should be brewed properly.
