What do you prefer eating to stay healthy during winters?

There are a lot of food items that you should include dueting this winter season to stay healthy, fit and to enjoy these nourishing and good in taste foods

Since certain foods are consumed during winters as they help to keep the body warm from within.

Thus these are some foods that you can include in your diet this winter season,

1.Seasem Laddoo(Sesame is a great source of calcium, good food for your hair and bones, helps to stabilize blood sugar in your body, and enhances digestion as well.

all in all sesame seeds when coupled with some dry fruits and jaggery, makes a good ladoo which you can have to post your meal.

2.Peanut Jaggery Chikki(Again the best thing that you can have in winters is peanut jaggery Chikki, just make sure that you try to buy the one which of good quality as some bad quality adulterated are also available in the market.

3.Dry fruits(figs, Dates)
These two foods are oceans of essential vitamins and minerals, which help your body in optimal functioning.
Thus you can have around 1–2 figs/dates daily or as per your convenience of the day.

4.Honey
Now when it comes to winters, one food that you must consume is good quality, honey.

as honey is,
1.Rich in antioxidants

2.Helps to nourish your throat from within

3. It helps to lower your LDL(bad cholesterol) and increases your HDL(good cholesterol)

4.Helps to manage your blood pressure and triglycerides

5.Helps to boost your immunity and heart health.

6. Superfood which will help your body to heal better.

Again you can have honey with your milk, paratha, pancakes, bread, just like that with some almonds, etc

Just try to make sure that you don't go for the most available honey(Commerical) which are there in the market as you might have been aware of the contamination of honey which is there.
as in order to make large profits some kind of contamination are there on the commercial level.

Also, the same thing was discovered with organic brands as well, which was they were labeling their honey as organic but still after the lab test, their honey was not different.

One good honey that you can go for is Honey Basket honey, as this honey is FSSAI and NaBL lab-tested, unheated, and unpasteurized and that too in good old glass jars instead of plastic boxes(which is again doesn't define the purity of honey but is generally good to store in glass jars instead of plastic ones)
as they are not on Amazon, you can buy from there website(honeybasket.in)

5.Carrots, beetroots, amla(seasonal vegetables)
I try to juice them together and make it in a form of good juice, which takes no time of having all the good vegetables in a tastier and convenient form

you can also add some apple and orange to the juice.
or if you want to eat as it is, you can have that way.

6.Green leafy vegetables(saag, spinach)

7.Whole Grains(Bajra, Makki, Whole wheat)

8.Fresh seasonal fruits

Also healthy doesn't mean that you overdo with any of the above foods, just make sure that instead of eating any crap food you opt for these good, traditional, local, and healthy options and never overdo them.

I hope this answer add value to your life!

Thanks For Reading!!!
