What do Eurasian people with less than 1/2 Chinese blood look like?

In these cases their European blood tends to overshadow their Chinese part.

Maybe you know Alexa Chung the British celebrity.

She is 3/8 Chinese by birth whose paternal grandfather is pure Han Chinese. Actually Chung钟 is a typical Chinese surname. But I doubt if anyone related her to Chinese on first look.

But her father with 3/4 Chinese background looks much more "Chinese".

And there's another perfect example I can think of. Matthew Vaille Lee, an American journalist of AP is 1/8 Chinese by birth.

In fact, his family name Lee is not the same with the common western name "Lee" but the romanization of Chinese surname 李 which is inherited from his great-grandfather 李恩富.

And this is his grandfather(1/2 Chinese) aka the son of 李恩富.

Looks kinda Central Asian to me.

This is Lee's father(1/4 Chinese).

Nah, not Chinese at all.

Edit:The world would be much better if everyone has the right to be proud of whom they identify as.

Edit:OMG guys it turns out that Matthew Vaille Lee's father is not nobody. He was a professor in NYU.Unfortunately he passed away at 75 in 2013.

His English name is Richard Vaille Lee and his Chinese name is 李理查 in whose family his grandchildren call him 爷爷 instead of grandpa. And his second son majored in Chinese literature in Yale.

This is Ben Lee,Matthew Lee's brother who is the Upper School Director of Northwest School,Seattle.

As you may know Matthew Vaille Lee is currently a journalist of AP and his great-grandfather 李恩富 is also a journalist back then who was the first Chinese ever to publish a book in the US as well.

What a coincidence, after more than a century he has chosen the same path that his ancestor had taken. They're all proud to be Chinese and have been back to China for the union with their Chinese relatives for several times. And of course they're all listed in their Chinese genealogy book族谱 now.The following is from one of Matthew Lee's interview.

What’s a fun fact that people in Washington might not know about you?

“My last name is Chinese, not English or Virginian. My great-grandfather, Lee Yan Phou(李恩富), came to the U.S. from China in the 1870s as part of a group of Chinese students. He stayed, lobbied against the Chinese Exclusion Act and became a journalist. He had three sons, all of whom served in the U.S. military, including one from his first marriage who was a pilot, volunteered for WWI and was shot down and killed over France.”
