sounds like a good salary for an average joe but this guy was the leading supporting actor in a major film nominated for many awards and he earned $65,000. To put that into context, in movies the minimum wage as set by the Screen Actors Guild is $60,000 so after he finished making the film he still had to sell phones working with his brother.

Whilst it was a great opportunity for a niche role using someone who had never acted before, given the great performance he definitely deserved more given the film grossed $218.8 millio
