What actor did you know was destined for stardom the first time you saw him in a film? Why?

I think that actor was Tom Holland!

He stared in the 2012 film: The Impossible, which was a movie on the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake & Tsunami.

Tom Holland played a magnificent role in this movie. After being separated from his family, he goes on a search quest to look for his family members as his mother was forced to stay in the hospital to treat her wound to the chest.

In the movie, he helps a Swedish kid reunite with his father as he went around the hospital looking for his own siblings. He had to run across the hospital to tell the kid’s father and in his own words:

I had to run through the hospital as if I’ve seen the best thing in the world.

He liked playing the character of Lucas in the movie, saying that:

Lucas has everything. He was this teenager, he has the father figure, he has that journey. So, I got to play like seven years of a boy’s life in four days.

Tom Holland also put his whole devotion in the character, being able to act accordingly given the circumstances of his character.

You know. Not only did he have the face and his personality, you also have a boy who could act it out as though every thing happening to him in the movie were real. You could tell that his acting is genuine as opposed to something that he was forcing on himself and he was only 16 years old.

Actually… I can’t believe he was 16 in that movie! He played Lucas who is 13 years old and he literally looked like a 13 year old as well in that movie!

Now, we know who he ended up as after this movie.
