Was there any "one role wonders"? Those that played a huge role in a movie and never surfaced again?

I would submit Carrie Henn, who played Rebecca “Newt” Jordan in Aliens.

For such a young, completely inexperienced actor in such a major role in a huge movie alongside a very seasoned and respected cast… I mean, she absolutely nailed portraying someone in a post-traumatic state, and had fantastic chemistry with Sigourney Weaver.

For all that, though, apparently it was something she auditioned for on a lark and never acted again. She has had a very nice, normal life. Settled down, had a family, became an elementary school teacher in California. Carrie and Sigourney still keep in touch.
