Well, little Rutger learned a very valuable life lesson.
Flee for a nation where the rules actually apply to all people. Or at least a nation that pledges to make the rules apply to all people.
He’ll be well-served if someone told him to emigrate to the West, like millions of talented, hard-working Russians before him. We need people that productive and gritty over here if Russia doesn’t appreciate or need such work ethic and talents. More for us. ;)
Rutger is ethnic German (family was Russified long time ago) He is amszing! This is him several years ago. It’s in Russian but you can see his performance and judges reaction
Rutger Garekht, 14 (pictured above) from Orenburg was a winner of Russia’s Channel One singing competition The Voice back in 2018.
Rutger is a wonderful performer of many popular Russian songs, a great dancer and a talented actor. He’s well-known throughout our country and abroad. He does gymnastics and plays the violin.
“I don’t like to get everything easily. I want to achieve everything with my own effort,” he said after winning the Voice singing competition.
This year, he was a popular choice to represent Russia in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
11-year-old Sofia Feskova (pictured above) is a granddaughter of the St. Petersburg “Bread King” Nikolai Tyutyunnikov. Everything is handed to her on a silver platter.
Her grandfather owns 30% of the grain business in Saint Petersburg and his fortune is estimated at 2.2 billion rubles putting him in the top-300 richest Russians. It is also believed he’s a friend of Konstantin Ernst, the head of Channel One and a native of Saint Petersburg.
Rutger Garecht was supposed to fly to Poland for the competition, whose videos are gaining a large number of views on YouTube. He was in the lead of the popular vote until the last night.
And then, suddenly, out of the blue, a newly minted star Sofia Feskova, who wasn’t known to anyone, made a giant leap and won the popular vote.
The organizers refused to recount the votes, and Sofia Feskova represented Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. She did manage to finish fourth… only from the bottom. Sofia finished tenth of thirteen participants.
Rutger likes to achieve everything himself. In Russia, there’s a cap to what you can achieve with your own effort and talent. Then you must have connections with the powerful people.
