Despite her ice-queen onscreen persona, Grace Kelly was notorious for bedding most of her co-stars - most of whom were married, that goes without saying.

She seemed to have been considered promiscuous even by the very lax standards of Hollywood at the time. It is alleged for example that she “visited a series of brothels in Rome with Ava Gardner just for kicks – and went back to her hotel with a bordello waiter who only emerged from her room three days later.” Grace: The untold story

Apparently, Kelly was quite anxious to sweep her wild past under the rug upon marrying Rainier Grimaldi, Prince of Monaco, because the latter was allegedly convinced she was a virgin.
